The Canadian International School of Egypt is home to students from junior kindergarten to grade 12. Graduation from CISE provides its students with the Canadian “Ontario Secondary School Diploma,” as the school is registered with the Ontario Ministry of Education in Canada. The education curriculum is delivered identically as if the school were sitting in Toronto or in Canada’s capital, Ottawa.
CISE teachers are Canadian with Canadian university degrees; they are graduates of Canadian Teachers Colleges and are members of the Ontario College of Teachers. The Egyptian Ministry of Education has certified CISE to provide an Ontario, Canadian education in Egypt. CISE is listed in the Egyptian Directory of Acceptance into Universities and Colleges.
Canadian education is ranked within the top three systems offered the world and first in English speaking countries. CISE students are accepted to universities all over the world.
Last year’s graduates are presently studying Political Science, Engineering and Science in Ottawa, Commerce in Toronto and Sociology in Montreal, Management in Glion and Hospitality in Les Roches, Switzerland, and finance at the American University in Cairo. Three students are studying medicine in Cairo at Ain Shamps University, 6th of October and MUST. This year’s graduates have already been accepted early to programs such as International Development and Professional Writing at York University, Engineering at University of Toronto and Waterloo University, home of the Blackberry, and Business Management in England and Dubai. Several have been offered university entrance scholarships, some valued at USD 20,000.00. One of our students has been invited to apply for the President’s Award Scholarship at a Canadian university and one has been awarded a prestigious Arts Scholarship for Music at AUC.
